Hellenic Chapter of the AIS

The Hellenic Association for Information Systems (HeAIS) is a Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), serving Greece, in close cooperation with other regional chapters in the European and the Mediterranean regions.

 The Association for Information Systems (AIS) is the premier global organization for academics specializing in information systems. Founded in 1994, AIS is an international professional society of 4,000 members from 90 countries and a key player in the advancement of the IS academic community. 

In line with the overall mission of AIS, the Greek Chapter will promote interaction and knowledge exchange amongst scholars and professionals who teach, research and practice the development, implementation and management of information and communication technologies and systems in organizations (both private- and public-sector) and in society.

The 11th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems will be held in Genoa, Italy on 4-5 September 2017. MCIS 2017 invites academics and researchers, from all over the world but also especially from the Mediterranean region, to reflect on innovative research in information systems, from the point of view of a rapidly changing world.
